For another interesting Patron cocktail idea, try my Dragon fruit margarita. Patron is the 1 premium tequila, and if you listen to my daughter talk, it is the only tequila to use. She came home at Christmas and turned her nose up when she examined my liquor cabinet and discovered a differnt brand of tequila in it. I have to say, that after tasting it, I must agree with her. The tequila is soft and light colored and has a fresh smooth taste with no hint of oak.
Patron is perfect for drinking straight and drinks made with Patron have a smooth, light finish to them. Oh…and the bottle is really pretty, too! A silver tequila works best with pineapple for Patron mixed drinks. This is especially true when you want a somewhat transparent look to your drink like this one gives you. Nothing whisks us away to a virtual Caribbean vacation more than a fruity drink mixed with some alcohol and garnished with some fresh fruit.
Fortunately, Patron Tequila Silver pairs just as well with sweet fruits as it does with limes! All I need now is a tiny mixed drink umbrella! I like keeping the small cans of pineapple juice on hand for making mixed drinks.
Nothing is worse that a whole bottle of juice going bad because you only needed it for one drink so this sized can is perfect for the job! This liqueur is sweet and has a smooth, fresh orange taste. The drink could not be easier to make. Just fill a glass with ice and add your two Patron alcohols. Fill the glass with pineapple juice, add a splash of fresh lime, and give it all a good stir. To garnish the drink, add a pineapple chunk, a lime wheel, and a maraschino cherry and you are set.
Can we say tropical? The answer to this question really depends on the size of your glass. To make a milder and less strong drink, just use the same amount of alcohol but choose a highball glass and pour in more pineapple juice. The highball drink will be slightly sweeter. Looking for an appetizer to pair with this Patron mixed drink?
Here are four different ones to try? They are light and fresh and super easy to make. What a nice pairing! The drink is very refreshing and perfect for a summer day. You can use 7-up too instead of club soda.
But this is the classic. Love it! Good recipe but I added tbsp of lime juice with lime slices. I fill glass full of ice and instead of soda water I substituted club soda for 7 Up pop or Sprite. Even my fussy wife liked it and she hardly drinks. Yoly Allstar. This mojito was delicious. I used a mini Patron Silver bottle which is 50 ml 1. Thanks for the recipe! The Bells. Best to muddle the mint, sugar, lime wedges and tequila then shake over ice - viola, timeless classic Read More.
